Understanding U.S. Monetary and Fiscal Policies

This 3-session course examines how the US Federal Reserve Bank decides on and implements monetary policy, how these policies impact the US economy, and provides a similar discussion of the fiscal policies (tax, spending, deficit, and government debt) of the federal government. In addition to description of the basics of these policies, course to provide discussion of the status of these policies as they stand at the time of the course.
