This is a collaborative effort by three docents from the Muscarelle Museum of Art.  Session 1: Patricia Rublein: Renoir and his circle of Impressionists, an examination of how these French masters persevered in their quest to set their own rules and create their own individual style.  Session 2: Georgianna Avioli: paintings to teach, paintings in chapels, churches and cathedrals aimed to educate worshippers, featuring the Arena Chapel in Padua and the Cathedral of Monreale in Sicily.  Session 3: Sandra Stephan: William Hogarth and Sir Joshua Reynolds, 18th-century English master painters--a study in contrasts.
