Williamsburg's place in the Revolutionary War is well known.  Its Revolutionary history is suberbly portrayed by various activities held by Colonial Williamsburg.  What is left to tell?  Plenty.  Which nearby skirmishes and battles helped shape the final course of the Yorktown Campaign?  Was biological warfare attempted near Williamsburg in 1781?  What are Williamsburg's connection to the Virginia State Navy and the war at sea?  This lecture will address each of these questions and potentially provide new insight into local history.
