This course examines a selection of today's U.S. economic trends, issues and institutions.  Topics could include: income equality; government debt; spending and taxes; the Federal Reserve; economic impacts of immigration into the United States; U.S. international trade and trade policy and impacts.  Exact topics to be chosen closer to actual dates of course based in part on current economic issues at the time.
