As a former superintendent of a national park service area associated with the culture and history of the Nez Perce people, it has been my privilege to live and work with many different individuals and intertribal groups that are collectively the Niimiipu.  This course will introduce participants to the Nez Perce Tribe of Idaho, the Chief Joseph Band, on the Colville Reservation in central Washington, and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in northeastern Oregon.
