Understanding Today’s US and Global Economic Trends, Issues, and Institutions

This 3-session course examines a selection of both current day US and global economic trends and issues, with regard to: trends; causes; impacts and implications; potential solutions; and impacts and implications of solutions.  Examples of trends/issues potentially to be examined include such as: China’s global economic impact; US income inequality; government debt and taxation; underground economies; immigration. Exact topics to be decided near start of course.
