Everyday people make history through the tangible things they create, purchase, use, sell, and give away. By studying objects from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, this course will explore some of the fascinating stories objects can tell us. Topics for this term include music and musical instruments, clocks and clockmakers, and historic homes.
