« back to classes page
Our military is always looking into the future and new capabilities to defend America. Sometimes it is to replace aging systems; sometimes it is to counter new threats from nation states or worldwide terrorists. This lecture, within security constraints, will provide a wide overview of all the new systems coming down the road for all the services and unique systems such as stealth drones, swarming electromagnetic railgun, hypersonic projectiles missiles, miniature hit-to-kill missile, laser unmanned underwater vehicles. We will touch on future focus areas of the administration and congress in the upcoming 2018 DOD budget.
