Hebrew is the foremost language in the old testament. For two millennia it ceased to be a spoken language but was applied to prayers and other religious writings. For the past two hundred years it has been continuously adapted to present day life. Participants in this course will be introduced to commonly used expressions and phrases related to interests and look into biblical root words which were reconstructed for day-to-day communication. Participants in this course can either choose to become involved by learning from homework assignments or be casual listeners only.
