« back to classes page
Climate change is a difficult problem. There is uncertainty not only about the negative effects of climate change but also the positive effects of mitigation strategies and there is deep political and moral disagreement about how best to move forward. This lecture will explore the dimensions of uncertainty and disagreement and ways of moving forward. It will draw on climate science, psychology, and environmental ethics. In the last 20 minutes, participants will answer this question: “How can we, as inhabitants of the only planet we have, 'bend the curve' of climate change?”
