This course is devoted to examining beliefs that matter. The first session is a summary of the principles of Belief Analysis described at The remaining five sessions use those principles to analyze student-submitted beliefs and to explore such topics as Human Agency and Dignity in the Age of Darwin; Catalytic Narratives and Confirmation Bias; A Critique of “The Secret” Beliefs, Cognitive Distortions, The Coddling of the American Mind; and Choosing Personal Narratives. The course will be challenging. It is suggested that participants should peruse to determine whether it is right for you. Returning belief analysts are welcome.
