Stepping outside your comfort zone may keep you sharp. Many Americans are worried about brain health, especially if they have loved ones with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia. While research is not yet conclusive, certain lifestyle choices, such as physical activity and diet, may help support brain health and prevent Alzheimer's. This course will explore evidence-based ways to prevent or slow down memory loss. Session 1: Social engagement and the aging brain. Session 2: Nutrition and the aging brain. Session 3: Dementia and the aging.
