« back to classes page
America's defense is of immense importance to us all, and it is our responsibility as citizens to understand what our defense consists of and what it costs. Over three sessions, we will learn about threats, the Pentagon, the United States and defense budgets, and present and future weapon systems that make up the defense of our nation.  There will be a comprehensive overview of our major weapons systems covering strategic nuclear forces, space, air, sea, undersea and land.  There will also be a short overview of the Department of Defense's acquisition, technology and logistics system, which provides and maintains the systems for our war-fighters.
