The B Westerns course follows the development of the B Western genre from the silent film era through the depression, the WW II years, and the post-war, ending in the early 1950s due to the influence of television. The B Western was a low-budget, quickly-made adventure targeting the youngsters of the saturday afternoon matinee crowd.
