Understanding Today’s US and Global Economic Trends, Issues, and Institutions

 This 3-session course examines a selection of both current day U.S. and global economic trends and issues, with regard to trends, causes, impacts and implications, potential solutions, and impacts and implications of solutions.  Examples of trends/issues potentially to be examined include: U.S.-China trade war, government debt, economic sanctions, comparison of U.S.-EU economic policies and outcomes, etc. Exact topics to be chosen closer to actual dates of course based in part on important issues at that time.
